Mandate
The purpose of the Music and Worship Ministry is to exhort, uplift, and encourage the body of Christ through song and worship. A key component of the Music and Worship Ministry is the praise and worship portion of the service on Sunday services or other functions when called upon by the pastor.
The Music and Worship Ministry is dedicated to leading the church in heartfelt, God-centered worship through music. Our mandate includes:
Developing a culture of worship and fostering an atmosphere of reverence and awe for God's presence.
Encouraging the congregation to participate in worship through singing, clapping, and other expressions of praise.
Selecting and preparing music that aligns with the message of the sermon and the theme of the service.
Providing opportunities for musicians and singers to grow in their craft and serve the church with their talents.
Mission
Our mission is to lead the congregation into the presence of God through heartfelt worship and music. We aim to create an atmosphere where individuals can connect with God on a personal level and experience His love and grace through music. To accomplish this mission, we aim to achieve the following objectives:
To cultivate a culture of worship in the church that goes beyond the Sunday service and permeates all aspects of our lives.
To provide opportunities for growth and development for members of the ministry in their musical and spiritual gifts.
To use our musical gifts to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those who do not know Him.
To create an inclusive and diverse worship experience that reflects the multicultural nature of our church community.
To collaborate with other ministries in the church to support and enhance their events and programs through music and worship.
Mouvement
The Music and Worship Ministry, which includes Hosanna Music, Shekinah Music, and Cano Vocal, has seen significant growth and expansion over the years. We have introduced new styles and genres of music to our worship services, incorporating contemporary Christian music, gospel, and hymns. We have also expanded our reach beyond the church walls by organizing music concerts, community events, and outreach programs.
